As an organisation that promotes the independence and value of older people, we are keen to respond positively to people who want to help us in our work. Ways in which you can help include:
- Proposing ideas for activities, events or services that you want to organise or lead that will improve the quality of life for older citizens
- Volunteering either with SPC or with other organisations in Southwark. We can help you to find ways of using your talents and experience
- As a Trustee. We are always interested in enquiries from potential Board members with strategic skills in key areas - finance; personnel; the law; property matters; fundraising; Information Technology; Business; Leadership
- Partnerships. We welcome opportunities to work more closely with social enterprises and other organisations to extend the range and quality of services and activities for older people
- Information and Publicity. If we can help you, or you can help us to publicise services or activities that would benefit older people, please contact us
- Donations. SPC is heavily dependent on active fundraising to sustain its valuable work. Any donation or legacy is very much appreciated
